چکیده
The frequency of latent tuberculosis has been recognized since the latter part of the seventeenth century, but the true significance of these latent lesions in relation to other tuberculous conditions has not received the attention they merit. Recently, however, Continental and American workers have thrown some light on this important subject. In particular, E. L. Opie,1 of Pennsylvania, points out the following two conflicting factors which must be considered when dealing with " latent tuberculosis."

Identification of the first nodal drainage site (sentinel node) may improve detection of metastatic nodes. Extended surgeries, such as lobectomy or pneumonectomy with lymph node dissection, are among the therapeutic options of higher acceptab...

Ulcerative type (77.5%) was the commonest morphologic type with predominant involvement of ileum. Appendix (5%) and Stomach (2.5%) were rarely involved. At autopsy, mesenteric lymphadenopathy (80%) was noted to be the commonest, followed by tra...

We present coexistent bronchial carcinoid tumor and pulmonary tuberculosis in the same lobe. A 39-year-old woman was ...
